Coming from a large west coast city, Providence and Rhode Island really stand out as accessible. Can get anywhere within 20 mins with minimal traffic. The surrounding states allow for quick weekend visits and alternative living for people who have different home lives. Lastly, I have been told that the weather is mild compared to many other areas on the same coast which is calming for a cali girl transplant.
