Why I love PEM at Brown

As an academic center that is dedicated to all of the children of Rhode Island, PEM at Brown provides such a well rounded and supportive clinical training environment. The program’s flexibility and vast departmental and university resources empower our career goals and help us thrive both inside and outside the hospital.

Why I love Rhode Island

The ease and low cost of living reminds me of the Midwest only the beach is closer! My wife and I even bought boogie boards in our first week moving here. We go to food truck Fridays in our diverse neighborhood. The beach is 30 minutes away, beautiful kayaking 15 minutes and amazing, affordable food is all around. We pay much less than we did in Boston for a place that is twice as big. We are loving life in the Ocean State!
