The Pediatric Emergency Department really executes an incredible balance of academics and community. The people in our department are incredibly kind, intelligent and hard working. It is an honor to learn from and work alongside our amazing attendings, APPs and nurses. We get to provide excellent care to children AND have fun!
I know it's been said over and over, but the food is phenomenal! There are so many good restaurants in the PVD area (plus amazing desserts) and Providence is SO close to excellent seafood. Lil'Rhody is also so accessible to the greater Northeast area - it's nice to be a quick drive away from the beach, hiking trails, as well as our family in New York and Boston!
