Why I love PEM at Brown

Quite simply, it's the people. Everyone is so eager and excited to teach, and attendings are constantly encouraging me to take the best learning opportunities the ED has to offer (which is a lot). Every attending is incredibly supportive of my goals and helps me to examine my own weaknesses and, in doing so,  become a better doctor every single shift. I feel truly honored to be part of such an amazing community.

Why I love Rhode Island

(This is tough, since I don't actually live there) but I truly feel like Rhode Island is a hidden gem of a state, lost in the shadow of Massachusetts and New York. It has an incredible dining scene, The art and theater scene is on the rise and the culture is incredible. With easy access to beaches and mountains, Providence is truly one of the most underrated cities on the east coast.
