Why I love PEM at Brown

I was first introduced to Hasbro's Pedi ED as a pre-med research assistant in 2015, and felt immediately like I had found my people. The attendings, APP's, nurses, secretaries, child life specialists and every other member of our ED truly works together to create a positive learning environment for trainees of any level. I feel confident that the exposure I will receive here, both clinically and with regards to research, is unparalleled, and I'm just thrilled to be part of it.

Why I love Rhode Island

Rhode Island has the conveniences (and amazing food!) of a big city, but the charm of a small town and I am downright obsessed. I love the beaches, the parks, the people, the farmers markets, the ice cream, the bike path, everything. One of my favorite things to do is show my friends and family around the state, and I think it's the coolest thing ever that everyone who visits loves it as much as I do. There's really something magical about Lil Rhody!
